Importance of time and angle in celestial as well human existance

Time you know is called money, not because of impact on human life; but also it has importance for every particle and body to this universe. Everything is movable by time. Have you ever go to astrologers and show your birth chart or ‘kundali’ to be inspected? Are they looking for the right birth time and planet position or their respective inclination?

Time has the direct link to the speed, situational condition and direction for every particle. Time and angle is so essential in the field of navigation, aviation, defense, celestial system and also having an important determination even in astrology.

Measurement and notation of time and angle

First let’s talk about time. Generally time is measured into four major formats i.e.
  • Day ( 1)
  • Hour (1h)
  •  Minute (1m)
  •  Second (1s)
Whereas angle is measured into as:
  •  Sign (1S)
  •  Degree (1°)
  • Arc minute (1)
  • Arc second (1)

Note

Here are few thinks that should be kept into mind while dealing with time and angle.
  • As I mention above minute and second both are common in time and angle notation, but have big difference.
  • For a second of time small English alphabet‘s’ should be used and for a sign of an angle capital alphabet ‘S’ mut be considered. Not to be confused with them ok.
  • Symbols such as ( ' ) and ( " ) should not be used for time.

Relation between time and angle

As we all know very well that our planet earth is revolving around the sun and moon is also revolving around earth. This creates the day and night, different time zones and hence calendar year. But for understanding this phenomenon we have to know some basic conversion and notations of time and angle.
  • For time 1 day is equal to 24 hours. The actual value is 23 hours 56 minutes and 4 seconds.
  • 1 hour has 60 minutes and 1 minute is equal to 60 seconds.
  • Whereas for a complete circle of an angle equals to 360 degrees or 12 signs.
  • 1 sign is equals to 30 degrees and there is 60 arc minutes in 1 degree and 60 arc seconds in 1 arc minutes.
  • Now in a 24 hours angle turns to 360 degrees, so by the account 15 degrees rotation is counted in a 1 hour.
  • In a 1 minute of time 15 arc minutes angle is turns and 15 arc seconds angle is turns in a 1 second of time as well.
  • 30 degrees angle rotation is counted in 2 hours which is equal to 1Sign of angle.
  • For a rotation of 1 degree it takes 4 minutes and for a rotation of 1 arc minute of angle it counts to 4 seconds.

Important facts

  • For interchanging between units of time, it should be the scale of 60; not on the scale of 100.
  • The use of dot i.e. “.” Should be avoided in between the any of two consequence units.

Specified examples

Let me clear the concept and facts through examples. If I write 1.50 hr and ask you to tell that time, how you pronounced it may be 1 hr 50 minutes isn’t it? But let me tell you your answer is absolutely wrong my friend. As I tell you earlier that there should be no use of dot symbol between two values.
  • For 1.50 hr the correct notation would be 1 hour and 50th hundred of an hour or just as simple as 1 hour 30 minutes. Looks interesting ha! When you convert 50th hundred of an hour into minutes on scale of 60 it results as 30 minutes.
  • Like same as for an angle let suppose be if there is an angle of 25 degrees and 35 arc minutes, it should be written and denoted as 25°35′ but not as 25.35°.
